Cavitation
Cavitation therapy utilises ultrasound waves to physically disrupt the fat cell’s membranes. As the ultrasound waves penetrate the fat layer, they generate vibrations that the fat cells cannot structurally withstand. This causes the cell membranes to rapidly break apart. Damaged, they release triglycerides into the interstitial space and are converted into free fatty acids and glycerol.
The circulatory system absorbs water-soluble glycerol and uses it as energy, while insoluble acids transport to the liver for processing and elimination.
Cryolipolysis
Fat cells in the human body freeze at approximately -1°C, while cryolipolysis technology cools the targeted area to temperatures ranging from 0°C to -10°C. During a 3D Lipo Ultimate Pro treatment, the handpiece will create a vacuum that draws the residual fat pockets into the device’s applicator.
The internal plates then cool the area to the selected temperature.
Subcutaneous fat cells are more susceptible to the cold than the surrounding tissue, and they crystallise and undergo apoptosis (programmed cell death) when exposed to precise cooling. Shockwave Therapy
Also referred to as acoustic wave therapy, shockwave therapy will use radial pressure waves which are generated by compressed air. Air pressure drives a projectile within the handpiece, which strikes a transmitter to deliver energy pulses into the skin. These pulses penetrate the skin, targeting fat cells and promoting fat metabolism. Radio Frequency Fat Melting
Fat cells are extremely resistant to all radio frequency (RF) electrical currents compared to regular skin cells. When your skin temperature reaches around 40°C, the fat cells begin to break down and metabolise as a part of our salon’s treatment process.

Fibroblasts are the connective tissue cells responsible for collagen and elastin production, and these are activated during radio frequency skin tightening treatments such as 3D Lipo Ultimate Pro. By heating the deeper dermal layers to a steady temperature of up to 45°C, the fibroblast activity is fully stimulated and this can further boost the production of new collagen and elastin fibres.
The thermal effect also causes as much as 30% of the existing collagen fibres to contract, resulting in an immediate tightening effect. Post-Treatment Aftercare
Clients in the Billericay, Brentwood, Rayleigh and Essex areas will sometimes experience mild bruising, swelling, redness and frostbite following a 3D Lipo Ultimate Pro treatment but these side-effects soon subside. After treatment, we advise that you avoid heavy meals for 2 hours and alcohol for 24 hours. Keep hydrated by drinking 2 litres of water per day and avoid any products containing caffeine for approximately 2 hours after attending your session.
Avoid heat around the treated area for 48 hours and do not apply products to the skin that haven’t been recommended by our senior technicians.
